Meet Jake Werth, a past GTE intern.
Jake Werth is a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh. He interned with GTE in the spring of 2022. He then went on to UPMC to begin a rotational program
Q: How did GTE prepare you for your professional career?
“GTE introduced me to the professional side of a financial career path. I was able to develop a lot of technical skills for financial modeling and cash flows. I've actually used some of the modeling skills in my current job at UPMC.”
Q: What are your plans for after graduation?
“I don’t have anything set yet, but my rotational program with UPMC has been going really well. There is a chance that I could see myself working there after school.”
Q: What advice do you have for future interns?
“Go to as many of the speaker series as possible. They provide a lot of important information and it’s a great chance to network. Thesespeakers also help you get exposure to other industries outside of private equity.”
