Lauren Privitera

Lauren grew up in Suwanee, Georgia, and has always been energized by the possibilities and impact of small businesses. During summers, she worked alongside her grandparents in their McDonald’s stores, where she admired their ability to work hard, lead with integrity, and make a meaningful impact on both employees and the community. Before founding Creek Dog Capital, Lauren worked in commodity trading (BP) and project sales/operations (Honeywell), gaining experience across oil, gas, and renewables. She earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and her MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Lauren lives in Chicago with her husband, Nate, and spends her free time on the tennis court, at pickleball matches, cheering for the Atlanta Falcons, and exploring the city's best Italian restaurants.
