Founded in 2017, GT Entrepreneurs (GTE) is a private investment firm that leverages its vast search fund and executive-level expertise to help procure highly favorable outcomes for today's most talented aspiring CEOs. We primarily look to partner with traditional searchers during their initial capital raise, and we also provide gap investment capital to both traditional and self-funded searchers alike.

Who GTE is looking for:

We are looking for undergraduate business students who are knowledgeable and interested in pursuing private equity as a potential career path post-graduation. As a P.E. Analyst Intern, you will play an integral role in helping GT Entrepreneurs find and build relationships with talented aspiring CEOs across the United States. Our P.E. Analyst Interns are self-motivated problem-solvers who can take complete ownership of their tasks and always strive to put their best foot forward. They are always thinking of new and improved ways to improve processes within the firm and are vocal about innovative thoughts and ideas.

Example Job Responsibilities

  • Building out the firm's planned social media calendar up to 6 months in the future on topics relating to search funds (e.g. industry news and stories, events, insights, etc) and happenings at GTE
  • Strategizing and ultimately creating the firm's quarterly newsletter surrounding search fund news and happenings at GTE
  • Outreach and business development to help the firm come into contact with new prospective searchers
  • Work with internal proprietary data to uncover insights surrounding investments and partnerships with searchers
  • Occasionally research, source, and build financial models for potential acquisition opportunities related
  • Potentially providing assistance to GTE's portfolio company operating Presidents/CEOs

Key Job Requirements

  • Students currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate university program
  • Ideally those who will have already taken at least intro coursework in finance, accounting, and marketing
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Highly detail-oriented, strong sense of accountability and capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be assertive
  • Excellent relationship building and ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with management and executive presence
