Summer Intern Group

GTE recruits from some of the top MBA and Bachelors programs in the staffing of the search teams. Search teams are tasked by their leading Operator-In-Residence (OIR) to identify and research potential acquisition targets or deal partnerships. Each team is led by an MBA Search Manager.

 

MBA Search Managers

Andrew Ellerhorst

Andrew is a second-year MBA candidate at the Tepper School of Business. Prior to Tepper, Andrew was a graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) and a member of the well respected Corporate Audit Staff (CAS). Shortly after his roles in Finance, Andrew was offered a role as the Associate Product Manager for Consumer LED Products. He worked with Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, Distribution, and Technology functions to help drive GE Lighting's consumer products transition from traditional lighting products to LED. Andrew received a dual bachelors degree in Management and Philosophy from Boston College.

Blake Steiner

Blake Steiner is currently a full-time MBA student at the University of Wisconsin where he is concentrating in Operations and Technology Management. Before going to graduate school, he was a field engineer and quality engineer at Corning Optical Communications form 2012 to 2016. Previous to working at Corning, Blake served in the United States Marines Corps from 2008 to 2011. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007 and is originally from Platteville, Wisconsin.

Blake Steiner is currently a full-time MBA student at the University of Wisconsin where he is concentrating in Operations and Technology Management. Before going to graduate school, he was a field engineer and quality engineer at Corning Optical Communications form 2012 to 2016. Shen Shen

Shen is currently pursuing her MBA, from the University of Iowa, Henry B. Tippie College of Business. Prior to moving to the U.S., she earned her Masters in International Business degree from the HEC Paris. She then joined LogicMills, an educational startup, where she successfully expanded its customer base by 32% and executed the launch of the world’s first game-based online psychometric assessment platform, MirMe. Before LogicMills, she worked as a manager at BNP Paribas, and as an associate at Ernst & Young. Shen received a Bachelors of Business Administration (Accountancy) degree from the National University of Singapore.
