Title: Private Equity Analyst Intern
Start Date: January 2018
Time Commitment: Part-time (15-25 hours/week) for at least 3 months, with minimum 3 hours/week on-site in Pittsburgh, PA
Compensation: Unpaid/Credit Opportunities (depending on your school arrangements)
Location: We require interns to work in our office in Pittsburgh, PA, and exceptional candidates may be allowed to work remotely for portions of the internship.

About Generational Transfer Entrepreneurs:
Generational Transfer Entrepreneurs (GTE) is a private equity firm seeking to acquire lower middle market businesses whose owners are looking to sell and transition their companies.
Who GTE is looking for:
We are looking for undergraduate level students to work as part-time private equity analysts. Interns will be responsible for assisting in investment origination and prospective company outreach. Interns will also be expected to analyze companies and industries and generate potential leads. Our team will help train you in due diligence and company analysis. We will work with you to create performance and professional goals and review progress throughout your internship. You will be working closely with our team to evaluate deals, generate leads and formulate initiatives to move GTE forward. We are happy to work with your school and program to maximize your experience.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate investment opportunities using quantitative and qualitative methods
Conduct company valuations through financial modeling and analysis
Analyze financial statements, business models and other information in confidential documents, such as Confidential Information Memoranda and Teasers
Identify potential acquisition targets and present preliminary proposals to your team
Generate outreach campaigns for targeted businesses
Conduct commercial and financial due diligence
Work on company development teams
Key Job Requirements:
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student (preferably business major) and have strong GPA
Strong work ethic, outgoing and self-motivated
Excellent presentation and time management skills
Proactive and able to work on own initiative
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be assertive
Organized with an excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
A passion for private equity and entrepreneurship
