On Wednesday, August 2nd, GTE held the first-ever company cookout to celebrate the summer intern class of 2017. The group enjoyed an afternoon of fun cookout games and an array of delicious foods including Uncle Charley's sausages. Once the group settled in with their snacks, James Van Buren addressed the intern class on the hard work they put in this summer. A brief award ceremony was held, where a select few recipients, determined by vote, received merit for a specific aspect of their work in which they excelled. Entrepreneurial OIRs Brenden Van Buren, Gabriel Chick, and Tom Fernan gave a final thanks to their teams and gifted each intern a book with an inscribed personal message on the inner cover. David Kestenberg gave the final address to the class of interns and awarded Brenden's team for compiling the most research data over the summer. Though this summer's intern class was a first for GTE, their legacy sets the bar high for future generations to come. A big thank you to the summer interns for their hard work and dedication to positioning Generational Transfer Entrepreneurs for continued success.
